Montross Middle School students were greeted by the sounds of holiday tunes when they arrived at Montross Middle School. Music teachers Marcia Becker and Bruce Pas- saretti were joined by art instructor Cindy Flickinger and gifted student specialist Rob Wright as they filled the halls with music As they played holiday favorites, the arriving students, teachers and parents were delighted by the impromptu recital. Above right, in collaboration with community member and local business owner Joyce Gunderson, Colonial Beach High School collected new toys and monetary donations for the 2016 Toys for Tots campaign by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. This school drive was organized by business teacher Janet Dunder- dale. Pictured below are some of our student donors, who filled two full Toys for Tots containers, Dunderdale, far left, and Gunderson, second from right.
